Wilson marks Liberal physiotheraphy cuts in Midland
(Aug. 19, 2015) Simcoe-Grey MPP Jim Wilson was pleased to tour Villa Retirement Lodge in Midland this morning with Deputy Health and Long-Term Care Critic MPP Bill Walker.
Wilson met with media and lodge staff to discuss how the Liberal government's cuts to physiotherapy services are impacting seniors.
This coming Friday marks the two-year anniversary of the Liberal government cutting physiotherapy services for seniors by $50-million.
Wilson has been fighting against the cuts since the beginning and is committed to continuing to advocate on behalf of seniors in Simcoe-Grey and across the province.
In June, Wilson was at Riverwood Retirement Home in Alliston to receive an update firsthand on how the cuts are impacting seniors locally.
