anglers and hunters

(April 17th, 2014) Simcoe-Grey MPP Jim Wilson and former Minister of Natural Resources, Oshawa MPP Jerry Ouellette, will host a roundtable meeting to discuss fishing, hunting and wildlife issues with local anglers and hunters on May 7th in Creemore.

"Over the past decade, the Liberal government has shown complete disregard for rural Ontario and the Ministry of Natural Resources," said Wilson. "The outdoor community deserves more from the provincial government when it comes to the MNR's core functions and traditional roles."

"Jerry has been very active on this file for years," said Wilson. "I'm glad he once again agreed to come to my riding to hear firsthand about issues and concerns in the community."

Anglers and hunters from across Simcoe-Grey along with the media are invited to attend. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 7th at 6:30pm at the Creemore Legion (27 Wellington Street West) Please confirm your attendance by contacting Wilson's office at 1 (800) 268-7542.
